Finishing projects…

The holiday break… a perfect time to pick up projects that have been lying dormant for a year … or so. The Inca Cable Pullover is finally finished. Originally started last February as an Olympic challenge (read: “to be finished in two weeks during the Winter Olympics 2010”), then put to rest without having finished the arms. Participating is everything, ehem.

Low and behold, here is the finished object almost a year later:

Thank you so much! I am so pleased to finally have finished it. The pattern was hand-written in German, and I made a few adjustments as I went along, so unfortunately, there isn’t a pattern available at the moment. I will ask the pattern author whether she would mind if I translated and published the pattern on Ravelry – this might take a little while though. I’ll update this post as soon as I have had a chance to speak with her.

Please do let me know — I haven’t seen anything like it
with that kind of neckline — not really a shawl collar, not a
turtleneck, not a wrap — but streamlined and elegant and
        warm-looking.
